I'm not going to address the twist at the end since I've gone on enough about that in another thread. I loved the episode up until the last part. All of the acting was fantastic.
The one thing I wanted to know that we didn't find out is what happened to Marian originally? We know Zelena killed her on the altered timeline, so I guess we can assume she really was arrested by Regina and probably would have been executed by her had Emma not rescued her from the dungeon, but we still have no idea why Robin blamed himself for her death or why she told Emma in the dungeon that her family believed she was already dead. I don't see them re-visiting that time period again so I'm guessing we will never have those answers? |

Yes! I was disappointed they did not explain this. It makes no sense still why Robin thinks that when Marian was caught by the Evil Queen. I think Christie will be in another episode to play Zelena playing Marian because I think there must be a scene where she changes from Marian to herself for Robin to see. But we know Marian is dead now and the 'real' Marian can only be in flashbacks.

I think there will always be room to explore that in the future. It's not like it was needed right now. What we needed immediately explained right now was when exactly did Zelena interfere. What originally happened to Marian can always be explained on a future Robin episode, assuming he will get one again.
