I don't understand it either. The way I see it, healthcare is a right, not a privilege. My benefits would not kick in until 3 months, but I get paid bi-weekly which is nice.
Anyway, I got the other job and I start July 10th. I sent the other employer an e-mail that I will not be working for him. Whatever the fallout will be, whatever. I'm going to enjoy the rest of my Friday evening and the rest of the weekend. __________________

Healthcare to me is on the same level as santitation and basic education (and various other ones) - universal services that goes with being a part of a taxpaying community.
