Yeah, I think it's interesting how Hook let Emma take the lead with the map. I would've thought that because he knows the island that he should be in charge of the map. It really shows that he is not trying to take over.

Thats what i am liking that he isnt taking over, he isnt being all i know this and i know that, he being a team player which is what is needed

Hook is the type of person who will lead or follow as needed to get the job done.

Finally got the DVD for season 2. The producers have a lot of nice things to say about Colin and what he's brought to Hook as a character in the episode commentaries.

Colin has certainly brought so much to Hook then i think the writers and anyone thought it would

I think how Colin sees his Hook, is how i see him too, always had done

Well, one producer spoke very open and honestly that sometimes when a character gets brought in if the actor isn't impressive enough they eventually get written out. But Colin just wowed everybody, which is why they kept bringing him back for important episodes like the finale, and why they made the finale Hook centric.

I agree with you guys. Hook in OUAT is just great!

We must praise not only the writing, but also the acting. There are many actors out there, although good, that usually play roles very similar to their own personality. Colin, on the other hand, doesn't look like Hook at all. He seems to be a shy guy while his character is just the opposite: outgoing, playful, ladies man. The character's range of facial expressions is also something unique, very, very entertaining. Colin is really doing an outstanding job. Really impressed me.

I can't imagine anyone else being Hook. Colin does an outstanding job. I was initially a bit worried about the introduction of the Hook character because all I know is Disney and I always found Hook kinda annoying. Colin makes this Hook so compelling.
