I think it was just a promo to get the fans excited about the character.

^Hmm, yeah that's probably what it is. I loved the idea though, of Hook getting it back but I suppose it doesn't really fit into the SL anymore.

Maybe it could still happen if Hook arrives in SB.

The promo did get me excited. I didn't think Gold would actually have the Hook. If he did, Hook could have easily gotten another, but I'm glad he got to keep the original Hook. It symbolizes his revenge.

Yes, but because the hook has a special meaning for him, I could totally see him wanting it back even if he had a replacement. Could have been an intriguing storyline,

He'd be furious if Rumpels stole his hook. Just imagine the destruction he'd cause to Gold's store
