Yeah what is it about the name. I already know of two other Daniels that died in tv shows I watch. Alias and Nikita.

Danie/Regina honestly had a truly beautiful love story and it broke my heart when he died. Cos all she ever wanted was to be herself and to be happy, actually that all she still wants now.

I think this episode actually ties in nicely with episode 2 (The thing you love most) another major Regina episode. Regina's line "What is there for me to head back to" is just so true and it breaks my heart. She literally lost nearly everything she had when Daniel died, apart from her dad. She lost the man she loved and wanted to spend the rest of her life with, she lost the future they wanted to share together, she lost her mother when she saw her kill the man she loved right in front of her and she lost Snow when she found out she had betrayed her. And worst thing is she did nothing wrong. All she did was fall in love with a man her deemed to be unsuitable.

One of my favourite scenes of this episode was the opening one where we see Regina with the engagement ring. God that snapped my heart. She just loves him so much after all this time and you could see it in her face how much she misses him.

I actually shed lots of tears when he died :bawl:
