I don't think they're likely to talk about anything. Emma isn't curious about how Neal comes to Neverland for her at all. She hasn't asked him anything about his trip.

Imo it would be important for Emma to hear the whole story. She should learn about Neals childhood, his mother leaving and his father changing. She should know EVERYTHING that happened between August and Neal. I want her to know everything August said and how he explained to Neal that he had to leave Emma. I also want the writers to clarify that it wasn't Neal who sent Emma to jail. But we've had this conversation before and I don't think we'll ever agree about it.

She's so focused on saving Henry she's probably not thinking about that Jonathan.

I don't know if Emma needs to know about Neal's childhood but she should know what August said that made Neal leave her. We need to see the rest of that scene with Neal and August.

Knowing about his childhood could help her to understand Neal better.

One of the problems I have with this show is that no one is ever curious about anything. After Manhattan no one was intersted in Neals past with Hook either. It's just weird.

I totally agree!!! I want to see a conversation like this too and it really irks me that the writers skipped over stuff last season.
I'm thinking it's because they have so many characters/storylines to focus on!

Neal has told her everything in the bar. August's interference, her fate as the savior, his belief in these stuffs, everything, and nothing did Emma doubt. She was just being angry at him.

I agree that that she should hear the whole story, but i'm not sure how much of a difference it'll make. emma can be a bit self righteous. all she hears that she got abandoned by her parents, and neal, but doesn't seem to really understand why she shouldn't be mad, or why it was in her best interest, or not, or whatever. she's very black and white. maybe that's what snow meant by inheriting her father's tunnel vision. charming sees everything positive/optimistic, and emma's almost the opposite end of the spectrum.

Snow's comment about her inheriting Charming's tunneled vision was a bit personal. It seemed like she put her feet in his shoes but not her mom's. She perfectly understood his reason to keep the secret with no idea how that hurt Snow, which made Snow unpleasant.

Which is understandable. Growing up as an orphan, she wasn't taught to see the world in other dimensions.

i wasn't taught to do that either, but i still do. i'm disabled and it would be very easy for me to say 'the world hates me cause of my disability' and not take it personally or do anything about it. it's the same with emma-being adopted isn't an excuse to walk around with a chip on your shoulder.

Sooner or later she has to trust her parents and Neal and see that sometimes life isn't black and white, it's grey.
