I'm not sure if that would work. Isn't it only TLK that has this kind of power? If it's not really Neal, it wouldn't be a TLK.

I think the hug was perfect for the context of their reunion. It was a great way to reassure Emma that no matter what she said, Neal still loves her and isn't giving up on her.

The thing is, Pan's not really putting obstacles in the characters' paths; instead, he's toying with and taunting them in the hopes that they'll create their own obstacles based on how they react to his games.

So he's put them in a mind game that drives its players insane? Like, uh, locking a prisoner up in a chamber full of mirrors? I think those obstacles that he expected to create are supposed to hurt them by revelation of their darkest secrets and exposure of their vulnerability, throwing some trust issues between them, but I'm not sure if it really worked. I think Emma is PP's only target. Her deepest fear is losing Neal again, because of which she wished that Neal was dead despite of his chance to survive. If PP could let her go through it again by tricking her with a fake Neal, it could be exasperating and devastating, making her emotionally melt down. That is what PP wants and what I've been worrying about.

I don't think it's a fake Neal. He let him go because he has no use for Neal anymore. Henry is what PP wants. Everything else PP is doing is to delay Henry's rescuers so that Henry starts to become more and more like a Lost Boy. He wants to convert Henry into the his cult and is banking on the idea that by the time Emma et al get to Henry, he won't want to go with them.

exactly! Anyways, if it was a fake Neal would he really have Neal's emotions? I doubt it, we saw it with FAKE!Belle. In the beginning she seemed real but as she kept appearing to Rumple she started seeming more and more robotic. We haven't seen that with Neal so he's definitely the real deal.
