I still want to know what exatcly August said to Neal. We know Neal didn't want to leave Emma and we know that August told him she couldn't fulfil her destiny unless he did, but that was really only an opinion. August couldn't know that for sure. There's still so much we don't know about him and his motives. I hope Eion will be back for another episode.

No, that is not how it works in the echo cave. It has to be the darkest secret. It takes sincerity and courage. Surfacing the surface wouldn't be enough to rescue Neal.

I can't take the echo cave thing seriously. Neither Hook, nor Snow or Charming revealed a dark secret. There is nothing dark about being in love or wanting another child.

IIRC, Hook said you had to reveal a deep secret, not a dark one.

When they found the cave, Hook told Snow that it had to be the darkest secret.
