Not really. I was somewhat interested in Rumples storyline (especially the one with his other son) but I knew it wouldn't be the same without Neal.

I agree. After his death I was sure they wouldn't mention him at all. The flashback and the "dream" scene were a big surprise. And the painting! I'm glad he was also Henrys father and Emmas first love in that alternative universe or whatever it was.
