Funny story. Last night, my son (12) went Trick-or-Treating with some friends. And I find out (of course, my son tells me nothing) that the girls at school have definitely noticed my son. One friend tells me in passing that my son is quite popular, that girls walk up to him in the hallway and say hi a lot, talk to him. I asked my son just casually and he shrugged, said, "Yeah, they ask me about sports and music and stuff. Nothing special."

I just stared back, smiled, and said, "Oh ... okay."

He, of course, is, for now, indifferent to it and (thankfully) is more focused on school, sports, and hanging out with his friends. Of course, I ponder on the day he's NOT so indifferent anymore ....

I may definitely need Starbucks to help me get through his adolescence

. Anybody else out there with a girl around his age that can offer insight?

Anywayyy, I just want to let you know about a survivor we're doing in the Celebrities board.
