Baelfire/ Neal Cassidy - Michael Raymond James

Baelfire, called Bae, was Rumplestiltskin's only family and greatest treasure. Bae's mother, Milha, abandoned them when he was very young. It was to save Bae from the Ogre War battlefield that Rumplestiltskin became the Dark One. Bae makes Rumplestiltskin promise to leave behind his magic if Bae can find a way for them to be together as father and son without the magic of the Dark One. Morraine tells Bae about Reul Ghorm, the oldest and darkest magic, who gives Bae the last magic bean. This magic bean opens a portal into a land without magic (presumably our world). Bae goes through the portal, but Rumplestiltskin renigs on their deal and refuses to follow Bae. The last we see of Bae in FTL is him calling his father a coward as the portal closes.

Neal Cassidy is a young thief in love with another young thief, seventeen year old Emma Swan. They make plans to start a life together in Tallahassee, FL, but first they have some stolen property to get rid of. On his way to fence the merchandise, Neal meets August who convinces him to leave Emma for her own good. August proves to Neal that magic exists, and that the Curse is real. Neal truly loves Emma and makes August promise to let him know when the curse is broken. Neal also leaves their yellow bug and a substantial amount of money for August to give to Emma upon her release from prison. Neal does not know yet he has a son but finds out when his father, Emma, and Henry find him at his apartment in NYC.

Emma Swan - Jennifer Morrison

Admittedly, Emma Swan may seem like a rather unlikely savior. Raised in foster-care, she has struggled most of her life just trying to track down who she is herself, let alone rescue anyone else. However, her strong moral compass and uncanny ability to know when others are lying lead her to always try to do what is right. When her son Henry, who she gave up for adoption as an infant, arrived and brought her to the town of Storybrooke, there was no way she was going to abandon him again. Although absent for most of his life, she is fiercely protective of Henry, and would go to the end of the earth to care for him. And while she might not have believed her son about magic at first, she certainly does now. Fighting a dragon will do that. Now, finally reunited with the parents she has spent her whole life searching for, Emma is finding it harder than she thought to let her emotions out after a lifetime of keeping them bundled away. Still, so long as she lets her heart be her guide, she will never lose her way.


"Emma Swan is a deeply damaged woman, and a deeply conflicted woman. She is a survivor, and used to being a loner, and therefore a sucker for the underdog. Against her better judgement, she will compromise herself to fight for what is right and to help those in need. She is strong and aggressive, but her brokenness and her emotions are not buried far beneath her tough exterior. He first reaction to most things is anger, but she has spent her life trying to manage her temper. She is both rash and calculated, and is forced to deal with her instincts to protect her child, a child she believes she is not capable of mothering. In the simplest form, Emma is a list of contrasting qualities: She is hard and soft; she is intense and easy going; she is strong and vulnerable; she is safe and dangerous; she is logical and impulsive. It is exciting to play a character that is so deeply conflicted and fiercely compelled to fight for what she believes is right." (J.Morrison on playing Emma)

“Me and J.Mo are super tight. We’re buddies. I work with her more than anybody and we got really close. We’re always cracking jokes and we laugh constantly. There are days where I come to work and I’ll have a freak-out about something unrelated and she knows how to fluff my aura and make it better vice versa. ”

“If Morrison’s bummed out, right, she likes cheese. So sometimes I’ll surprise her and go get some cheese, these particular crackers that we put peanut butter on and I’ll find attractive fruit. Literally, she doesn’t mess with ugly fruit — so attractive fruit. So if she’s bummed out or frustrated I’ll find attractive fruit, crackers with peanut butter and cheese — not expensive, French, stinky cheeses, but the gross prepackaged kind that kids carry. Because he tired to lose himself. It didn't work
Because he wanted to know about Emma. How she is doing
Because he said he should be doing the eleven months in jail
Because he fenced the watches so Emma could have some money
Because he left her the yellow bug
Because he hope those things would mean that apart of him is with her
Because he wanted to know when she would be free/when the curse was broken
Because she looked for him in Tallahassee for two years
Because she kept the yellow bug and key chain all these years
Because she made the key chain into a necklace
Because he waited for eleven years
Because they have a son made out of love
Because he makes her smile
Because she makes him smile
Because they have amazing chemistry
Because there was an immediate spark between them
Because their dream is have an apartment and jobs. They're dream is have what other people have.
Because they both were both looking for love and they found each other
Because they took the chance on their crazy dream of "Tallahassee" and live happily ever after
Because he seemed to have gotten his life together
Because their story has just begun
Because they are all kinds of adorable
Because Gold knows Emma wants a second chance
Because the look in Emma's face proves she wants Neal back
Because Neal returned to Storybrooke
Because Neal looked fascinated that Emma was magical
Because Neal risked his father finding him so Emma could reunite with her family
Because Tamara saw the way they looked at each other
