At least the last villains weren't related to Henry. The kid has been through to much. Kidnapped twice, mom dark one, other mom used to be evil, Grandpa tends to be evil sometimes. Had to watch mom stab boyfriend and other mom boyfriend die. dad die. It's a miracle he's well adjusted

Emma stab Hook to end the dark ones which is why he temporarily died. It was traumatic to Henry

he is. He did a potion that the dark one would go to him but the characters didn't know. If hook didn't wake up from his dark one trance it would have been Emma who sacrifice herself for nothing
