I really got the feeling Rumple is Regina’s father.
ok, I know that this theory was thrown away because one of the writers denied it so I am not going to say It will happen but It is not so a stupid thing like you would think, It would tie many plots in a fact.

This begins with cora “you’ll only get your own child and any baby I’ll have won’t be yours”
well this line is not an obstacle maybe she didn’t know she was pregnant, maybe she lied, maybe…the plot could change that without hurt itself.

people say rumple was lost since the beginning because the coran’s firstborn was zelena so he would get zelena instead regina but when he changed the contract IF regina is his daughter then he got the right sister by accident what is a nice twist if you ask me.

In the episode s2e2, the first time Regina summoned Rumple they had a very interesting talk.
Regina: I am…
Rumple: Regina, I know.
Regina : by my mother?
rumple : that’s not how i know you
Rumple : “I held you in my arms, you were younger, more portable”

So how did it happend? He didn’t have right to the baby. If rumple just abducted her how did cora get her again? He is the dark one. When someone suggest she is his child the first objection is “then why didn’t he take her?” so perhaps he did it. It sounds crazy but there is a matter with a certain letter, let me elaborate.

A problem with the letter ( and many people have point out it ) is when did Rumple send it to Cora? Zelena met rumple when He was teaching to Regina but that occurred AFTER Cora was vanished to wonderland (we know because that was the first time regina used magic and she was leaving when he offered to teach her.) then It would be possible to send it to wonderland using other portal/the hat,etc. BUT Regina had the letter since a long time ago so It wasnt brought to storybrooke with Cora’s stuff. All this makes sense IF the letter is about Regina because It would have been written between her birth and any other moment in her infancy and maybe we can know how old was her…she was portable.
Then with this in mind you can read the letter again:

"I finally got to put my hands on your firstborn, you never thought I’d find it, didn’t you?
Now, I know why, she is the most powerful soceress….even more than you, stunning in every way.”

When she was portable ^_^;
"You never thought I’d find it, didn’t you?" to find what? her firstborn? In the case of Zelena she wasn’t part of the deal so what? if this is about Regina she wasn’t hidden because there’s not reason then maybe this line means "to find" about something, he realized/undertood something.

"Now, I know why, she is powerful" : this line confused me when I heard this while I believed It was about Zelena, I mean Cora didn’t know Zelena was powerful so that wasn’t reason to hide her existence. On the other hand IF hes talking about Cora hiding Regina is his daughter it makes sense because Cora became a witch and She could know the baby was powerful and that would be a motive to
want to keep the baby in other case I believe It would be convenient for her to give up the rumple’s daughter anyway convenient or not Regina would be part of the deal.

Then why was Regina raised by her mother? I don’t know, a posibility is that you have to sacrifice the thing you love most in order to cast the curse, your daddy is a very good option, a risky bussiness for rumple here it is dangerous he said.

Now I can remember other thing about the first time they met

rumple: we are where we belong…together.
there is a mantra in this show “families always find each other” and when she looked for him it was almost an equivalent to henry looking for emma.

However you could think If rumple knows she is his daughter he couldn’t do all this because the whole point of the curse is to find his son and he couldn’t do this to his daughter. Well, yes, He corrupted her and made her suffer. Corruption is not so a bad thing from his point of view he loved cora because she was cruel and when he says regina is not like her mother it has a hit to disappointment. Sometimes he is an imp in her shoulder when I thinki about it. It’s just that Rumple have his style to get the things done ( deceptions, tricks and to be manipulative) and obviously he is very cruel all in all he is the dark one, hes cursed. Rumple lied belle (dagger) and while he loved Neal he thought to kill Henry seriously also the curse was supposed to give Regina all her wishes. He created a monster and he is one himself. In the words of Regina when she caught bell “I’m sparing you a time life of pain and misery” (2_11)

An amusing thing is that the mills daughter is the ep 2_16 and the letter appeared in ep 3_16.
In my opinion the writters were not going to give us a spoiler so big just because someone asked.

by the way, I am conscious of the fact they used latin/spanish actors for PrinceHenry/the king (the baby wasnt XD ) but this show is always trying to give us surprises and bad excuses

, no need to worry about it. You brought up valid point there..but I, for one, am so glad that they are not related, I love the dynamics that they have now and think adding that to the mix would spoil that....
