I don't doubt that she's happy, but being happy and being truely happy are (IMO) two different things. I doubt that true happiness is even possible with all the danger and tragedy that's happening all the time. It will probably have to wait until the show is over.

That's true but I don't think it's only about what they had in common. Neal would still be the same loveable person and I'm sure Emma would still fall in love with him. Of course I'm not exactly objective. I always had problems to imagine that there are people who wouldn't fall in love with him.

He's not the one we have to think about. He'd still be same Neal she met in Tallahassee. But the Emma from Tallahassee wouldn't be same Emma Neal would be meeting. They connected at first because of that loner/thief background. Emma would not have that background anymore.

I wonder where they would have met. It could have been if Snow was able to go to the wardrobe and raised Emma. They could have moved to Oregon but I don't how they would have met

Just because Emma would have a different background doesn't mean she would be a completely different person. Just remember how Regina grew up and she still fell in love with a stable boy. And Snow is a princess and it didn't stop her from falling in love with a shepherd.

That could be. Or maybe, like her mother, she ended up in some sort of situation where she had to steal something and that's how they met.
Another thing: If Snowing had raised Emma, doesn't that mean that the curse was never enacted? So maybe that means that Neal never came to our world and grew up as the son of the DO. |
