The portals have long been a problem on this show. It's as if Rumple was the only one who couldn't find a way to our world. It's probably best not to think about it too much.

I am sorry. Let's move on I still like this show plot holes and all. I also liked Emma getting a bit more backstory so I don't mind the coincidences.
I guess neal was around they would have talked about her past this season and he might have been there for her now that she discovered her parents lied to her |
