In a way he did. August doesn't exist anymore. I thought it was awful when Rumple had this "great idea" of turning Neal back into a child. I'm not sure August would have liked the idea any better then Neal did.

August's popularity plummeted when he tried to use the dagger on Gold. I think he killed most of what was left when he turned in Emma.

I dont think August collect reward money it was an anonymous tip. I kind of wanted August and Emma to have a brother/sister relationship after they sorted out some things at least pre Tallahassee. Or even after a long time. I just hated that he turned into a small child. Yeah August made mistakes but I felt he could have made amends after a long time. Plus he weirdly said he wanted Neal and Emma together. I do think he felt bad about his mistakes and there are people who still like him. I still like or at least I was willing to forgive him with time.

Personally I don't do think August had a deep reason. He just wanted to party in the tropics and have no responsibility. Not a good thing but I don't think he was part of anything. Although I do like to think of theories from time to time. Anyway lets just drop this conversation because I don't trust myself with it I am still angry at Neal for going a long with it. I am an Emma fan so this conversation causes me pain

It was only anonymous because the caller didn't give a name. It could have easily been August.

I am just saying they don't give rewards to anonymous tip plus I think they needed to catch Neal and the rest of the watches to give a reward. So I don't think August was given reward money, which is good

I'm glad he didn't get reward money, but maybe if he had, he wouldn't have taken Emmas money.
