I usually takes me longer than one scene. More like one episode.

sometimes it can take a little longer, but not much more.

I usually try to give a couple one or two episodes before I fully commit usually its by the first or second scene

For me it depends on the circumstances. Often I like a couple after the first scene but it's the next scenes or even episodes that decide if I ship them.

Emma and Graham for example. I can't even remember their first scene and I have no idea when I started to ship them. Another example is Emma/Jefferson. I was intrigued and I thought I might end up shipping them, but a few scenes later it was clear to me that I wouldn't.

An example for me is, that I started shipping Zoe and Wade on HOD right away. Took til the middle of S1 of Arrow for me to start shipping Oliver and Felicity.

Most of the time I don't even know when I started to ship. It happened gradually. I think I'm often in denial, because I don't really want to ship. It makes everything so complicated! It's so much nicer to like a couple without any shipping being involved.
