What's disappointing is that I had such hopes for the Neal/ST storyline since the pilot when I heard this conversation between Emma and Regina.

Regina: And the father?

Emma: There was one.

Regina: Do I need to be worried about him?

Emma: Nope, he doesn't even know

For some reason that always stuck to me and I thought Henry's father would come into play in a significant way because the way Emma mentioned him and brushed him off- she seemed hurt but I always thought there was something deeper too and at the time of the pilot we didn't even know his name.

I think he was supposed to have a more significant role than he ended up having. That's what makes it so hard to accept. It's easy to see that his story was far from finished.

Wouldn't be the first time one of my ships got screwed over under similar circumstances. I just have to accept that. :(
