I don't think they regret the love you, Emma said she always loved him in 3.06 and told Rumple in 3.22 that she did love him. I might disagree on how she loved him and certain other things but I do believe she did. she just meant that it would be easier for her to move on if he was dead.She wasent trying to be mean or hurt him. Neal understood cause he felt quilty on how their relationship ended 11 years ago. Like his quote "with everything I put you through" that why he wasent mad at her

It wasn't about her trying to move on. From the moment they met in Manhattan, there was nothing about her moving on from him/them.

At the end of season 2, she wasn't thinking about moving on. Then suddenly a few days later she was? That's why I'm wondering if the writers regretted the ILYs. I get that Emma was confused and Henry was kidnapped and everything was a mess, but there's just such a big difference in Emmas behavior. It doesn't make sense to me.
