Their first scene is perfect. I really don't think I can pick a favorite part. If I absolutely had to, I'd say it's the beginning. What's yours?

For what it's worth, I'm getting back to a fic I've let sit too long (other stuff got in the way). I'm still kind of working back to it. It's AU with not one but TWO Baes/Neals!

It starts AU: What if Rumple had gone with Bae through the portal (answer: nothing good. 19th century London [or Londyn, since it isn't quite our world] was not a place to be crippled with no friends, money, or job skills [the mills had largely replaced the weaver's guild by this time]). So, that's Bae #1.

Then, from a version of Henry-Stolen-By-Pan that ended with a lot of chaos, Neverland falling apart, and Pan dead, comes our Neal and Emma. They have a magic portal device, but it needs to be "recharged" between each use--and Neal keeps messing it up so they go somewhere other than Storybrooke.

I flip around times a bit. There's a dream world experienced by a seer locked up in a 19th century mental asylum who starts sharing dreams with Rumplestiltskin--and Rumple begins to fear the monster attacking her in her dreams is somehow linked to the Dark Curse (kind of obvious since he can send it away when he's there).

There's reality as experienced by Bae and Rumple (and a Wendy whose last name isn't Darling). There's what happens when Emma and Neal show up (not much of them yet). Neal and Emma are passing themselves as a married couple (it's the 19th century, remember), but it seems to be working for them.

And there's a certain Dark One trapped in a cage, waiting to get out. . . .
