especially with emma. i really don't like what they've done to her. she's very selfish. maybe that's the point but it just makes her look juvenile and immature.

i wouldn't say THAT. her behavior is reminiscent of her mother's behavior before she met charming. I am however one of the few fans that doesn't like Bandit Snow cause I think she's a biotch, so it makes sense i wouldn't appreciate that in her daughter either.

She flirted with Hook and kissed him, only a few days after Neal was killed and while her son was missing and in mortal danger. It seemed out of character to me.

oh THAT yes. either that or she never really loved neal. emma's a very resentful character and not very resilient. she needs to work on that.

Emma seemed ready to forgive Neal at the end of season 2. Season 3 was messed up. She seemed to blame Neal for being killed off. As if he betrayed her by sacrificing himself for her. I blame it on the triangle. It didn't make sense and therefor Emmas reaction to it couldn't make sense either. She had to feel torn between two men when there was no reason for her to feel that way. She professed her love for Neal at the end of season 2. She was devestated by his death. She hardly knew Hook and what she knew of him wasn't good. And she had more important things (Henry!) on her mind. It was the worst possible time for a triangle.

In the finale, she used something she learned from Neal to free herself in the past. Had a nice memory of him that is the title of this thread and once again said to Rumple that she loved Neal too and that he died a hero. That helped to have her acknowledge how important Neal was to her and that she loved him in spite of the past. I will never accept captain swan, but I feel better having her acknowledge her true feelings for Neal.
