I'm not even sure if I want it. It was nice to see him with Belle, but it's ST and Neal/Henry scenes that I really want to see.

It would have been so nice to see a Neal/Henry reunion.

They didn't get to spend enough time together.

It's heartbreaking that Neal didn't get to see Henry again.

They should/could have had more scenes in 3a.

Yes, we did.

I found this:
Quote:
Both Kitsis and Horowitz also discussed how Neal's sacrifice was very meaningful in the fact that it made Neal a hero, and ended the family's history of cowardice, first with Pan then Rumpel.
Apparently all his other sacrifices weren't enough. I always get angry when I read things like this.

That annoys me. He didn't need to end the cycle himself. Didn't he end it before anyway?

Exactly. The cycle should have ended when he sacrificed himself for Wendy and her family.

I know there are some people who like to believe that Neal left Emma because he was afraid of Rumple, but the writers made it clear in season 2 that he had to leave her, that bad things would have happened if he hadn't left.
