Eee, look how big our supporters list is growing! <333 And I LOVE this wishlist bit:

-Emma finding out from someone else after the fact that Mr. Gold has done something really good to help her

I think that'd be awesome, because something similar happened on a show from the 80's called Moonlighting (Bruce Willis & Cybill Shepherd), and it was SO cute/really bettered their relationship. I doubt Gold would do anything as sweet as the aforementioned characters, since he's not exactly a "Prince Charming" type, but I could POSSIBLY see him doing something with an "awww" connotation attached.

Like maybe helping Henry in someway, which automatically means he's helping Emma since her son is someone she loves.

Kendra: I could totally see Mr Gold doing something for Emma for no real reasons, just because he got attached to her, and without her knowing it!

Although I don't think it would happen this season...

About the Beast, I really hope it's not Mr Gold because it makes no sense at all, at least to me...
And yeah, I can't believe we'll have scenes between them on Valentine's day episode

I am happy that the moments between Mr. Gold / Emma are drop by drop because the most important thing is that things slowly, otherwise it is then said everything in a few episodes and ends. For example I'm worried about the roles of GG and JD because in only 10 episodes have already been told 70% of Snow White/Prince Charming story and 40% of Mary/David

If it continues by the end of the first series will be the resolution for them, no pair of which is told so much in the first serie survives in the future, and at that point what will happen? They take a new main princess? They will remain as recurring? Or for Emma? Or they return to the world of fairy tales?

Eliza: I'll admit I'm never too optimistic either, because I can only name ONE TIME that my pairing ended up being canon (and that was Moonlighting). My first ever ship was from an anime, and everyone agrees my ship should've been on top since they were ALWAYS flirting/doing things for each other. The ships that occurred were random and almost like the writers drew two names out of a hat and went, "Ok, THIS will be the OTP!" -_- On one hand, it's nice that I've got creative liberties to make their stories the way I WANT them to be, but on othe other hand, I really would like to see SOME of my pairings be canon for once.

suite: Who says Snow and Charming's story is 70% done?? I'm sure that won't change anything for Emma's role, because she's Storybrooke's only hope. If they break the curse by the end of the season, that'd be pretty stupid since there'd be no point for a second season (IMO, anyway). I have a feeling Emma may start to BELIEVE in the curse, but she won't have broken it by the end. These are the creators of Lost, so they'll probably drag things out for as long as humanly possible. There were what, 6 seasons of Lost? Gosh...if there are 6 seasons of OUAT, I'll be 30 years old when it ends. X____X I'LL BE THE OLDEST FANGIRL IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD. haha

I'm happy too that the writers are taking their time with Mr Gold/Emma! And I'm also scared sometimes that M/D's relationship might be going too fast

On the other hand, I think Mary/David might become one of those solid couple of the show once they're together kind of like Lynette/Tom on Desperate Housewives (before they broke up for a stupid reason), or Allison/Joe Dubois on Medium, and we'll just keep having cute, funny or sad scenes between them but no big drama like we might have with Emma/Mr Gold

Which is a much better thing for them

But I think we'll have much more angst with Emma/Gold

Kendra: Haha, except for Damon/Elena (Vampire Diaries) my ships never end up being canon either

But at the beginning Damon/Elena was definitely NOT canon, then the shippers number grew all of sudden. I'm hoping for the same with Gold/Emma

I know what you mean! Sometimes Writers just choose a couple out of nowhere and you're just like

I think the REAL curse will only be broken at the end of the show only

Don't worry -- it's not too much at all. I actually totally forgot about adding "Desperate Souls" into the thread title last night, but I just wanted to start the new thread and go to bed.

I'll add this all to the OP sometime today.

I was also thinking about putting a new art in the bottom of the OP. What do you guys think? Good idea or not?

You won't be the oldest fangirl. I'm older than you are...

And there are plenty of older fangirls out there. Not just for the OUAT fandom but other fandoms as well. Does age really matter though? If you enjoy a pairing on a show and like to talk about it. It doesn't mean the whole world to me, but I admit to being slightly obsessed by it at the moment.

I highly doubt that the beast would be Rumpelstiltskin, because he's already Rumpelstiltskin.

How long can they drag out the Snow/Charming thing? We know that they will end up together, so it's a pretty foregone conclusion. I also wonder about the curse. They can't keep that going for six seasons...well, maybe they can. Television shows have been known to go on for longer than necessary. That's not to say I wouldn't want six seasons, but some people were saying that Emma could break the curse and they would go back to Fairy Tale Land.

I just hope that we'll get some good interaction in future episodes.

The first ship, well, the first real ship I had was Grissom and Sara on CSI, and they turned out to be cannon. At the time that I was shipping them I wasn't sure that would happen. But it felt good when it finally did.

The only other ship I have is Jeff/Annie on Community. I'm kind of picky about television, so I haven't watched too many shows.

I forgot to add that I liked House/Cameron but I wasn't a die hard shipper. But my liking House (the first 3 seasons anyway) was the reason I wanted to watch Once Upon a Time, because Jennifer was in it. Though I was also interested because of the fairytale element. I don't think I would've watched it if I didn't like the premise.

Because the Show/Charming story starts not long before the curse, and we have already seen ''how they met'', ''first kiss'', ''the kiss that broke her eternal sleep'', their ''I love you'', their ''marriage'', ''the birth of Emma'' etc.

I have some doubt, as they use them? Except from the episodes dedicated to them, the center of the scene is about vertical plots around Emma and happy endings of various characters from fables, whit Regina and Mr. Gold that are the antagonists. The various Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel etc are for the show the self-closing as it is for the murder for crime show or the patient is for the medical show. And when the episode is not around them as a couple, Ginnifer have only 5 minutes of screen-time, and JD does not appear at all. When a TV couple you have already shown the first meeting (David wakes from coma) - the characters understand that they has feelings for each other - complications - the first stop -

all in the season 1, the things to say largely end, ok, they can play with on/off couple for some time, but not for long because they can not start over each time, because it would be a repetition. The romance that lasts six or seven years is used for couples who have never declared as Castle or Bones when feelings are hidden. Desperate Housewives is different because is a coral soap without vertical plots, and in Medium it works because he is with the protagonist who solves the vertical plots.
That's why I'm worried, now GG and JD have a good screen time because they're talking about Snow/Charming and Mary/David and their love, but after?
