I think we know just a bit more. At least we know his fairytale persona. We aren't for sure if the Sheriff has one or not.

This is what I found one Wikipedia. I never knew he was an actual character in the book version.

Yeah I haven't either. I just always thought he was a Disney creation because I never heard about him when I read about Pinocchio.
