Just rewatched the Hamburger Date.

First, Granny was a riot.

Second. What is up the lady in the booth next to them spying on them?

Third. Go away, Regina.

Such a cute scene.

The best part of that - well, ok, tied with the actual scene- is the shot of Bobby and Em (Bobby with a huge smile on his face) playing games; you can even hear them discuss who won, and how many times, lol

Picnic date interrupted. And sure Rumple meant "the food" looked delicious.

Next up tonight is "The Outsider." I'm not ready for it. I remember being so shocked at the end of the episode because I was pretty much spoiler free then.

The Outsider is a near perfect episode; I think at this point it's actually underrated...........

Rumbelle Source

I love how there happens to be a strong breeze blowing in both of these scenes, making the parallel even stronger……. I’m not sure why, but this is making me especially emotional now

"Outsider" is a great episode, despite the cliffhanger at the end

That gifset is great too

The Outsider is a perfect follow up to Skin Deep......that car scene, the town line scene............everything. I felt it was Rumple's journey as much as Belle's since, by the end of the episode, he truly wished she could go with him, truly was ready to share Bae with her as he hadn't been able to do at the beginning.

Ok, don't kill the messenger.

You will always lose the ones you love the most

Oh my god…my poor heart, sob; I’m a wreck. Poor baby, poor Rumple…That last one in particular kills me, with his “big, big eyes full of tears”.

Betsy, you like killing us with feelings, don't you?

I had forgotten how much I loved The Outsider.

I was a little irritated with Rumple in the beginning with his "it's my journey" and basically saying what can you do? And also the "this doesn't concern you" when she had just been attacked by the pirate. Boy did she set him straight, lol. By the end he was singing a different tune. And he did want her to go with him on this journey and recognized how lost he would be without her. But I do understand that he has spent his whole life pretty much alone and he's not used to having someone in his corner like that.

Some other points.

Boy the Scottish accent was coming out full force in this one.

Love Leroy and Belle but why did he seriously think it was a good idea to send this pretty young girl off on a wagon train with a bunch of rough looking men to kill a terrifying monster?

And why did Rumple think it was a good idea to give a gun to a girl who had never probably seen one before? And why did no one notice Belle just strolling down to the docks in her darling little outfit (love that skirt/top combo) with a gun in her hand?

Has there ever been acknowledgment by anyone of how she saved Archie?

How great did Belle look in her adventuring outfit? It's such a shame they never followed up with her and Mulan and Philip after this. Again no further acknowledgment that she had saved both of them. After this episode it's never mentioned again.

Still love the scene in the library where he comes to her after the phone call.

Town line scene with them and her putting on his shawl was perfect. The car scene, perfect.

That really was one of the best cliffhanger endings on this show ever.

I wasn't irritated at Rumple only because for so long it had been just him and Bae......and he was still learning to be in a relationship. I loved how he learned to open up to Belle, to share with her - this kind of thing didn't come naturally to him, not after centuries of being the DO.

If you notice, Bobby's accent turns VERY Scottish whenever he's emotional (another example is the scene in Lacey when he finds her outside Granny's, and she eventually leaves him)....

At the town line scene, the way he bent down for her to put the shawl on him was like he was worshipping her - I loved that so much. I'm certain that he had told her about Milah before the car scene, which is why he said "after all he's done".......

I think the car scene might be my favorite in Outsider The town line scene too (before Hook happened)
