I am soo pissed at the writers and we are all giving them hell on twitter!

I am not taking sides because both Rumple and Belle behaved badly and ooc tonight!

Going to Zelena? Zelena taunting Rumple about Bae! Belle deciding Rumple never gets to see her or the baby again?

Belle bullying Aladdin to help her?

Rumple putting a tracker on her?

What the hell are those two idiots doing to Rumbelle!

I give up! I am done! I officially break up with Once Upon A Hook! No more!

I will keep up to see if things are fixed but they better have a hell of a good reason for all this and I want to hear apologies on both sides!

Yeah, a push is nice in theory, but push a man like Rumpelstiltskin, he's pushes back, and it won't turn out so well.

Giving him an incentive to change has been done before and look where it got him. Rumple has to want to change for him. Not Belle. Not their kid. He has to want it.

Yeah, I don't think pushing/"though love" necessarily works with the Dark One (if Rumple was an ordinary man, then yes.. It did work in 5a). I think that just feeds the Darkness. And if there's something that can make Rumple snap and lose the control, it's the idea of losing his child ("daddy issues", you know). What's happening with him right now is no different than what happened with Hook in 5a after he learned about Emma's betrayal. Rumple is just driven by fear rather than revenge (although now that the Darkness has some Hook in it, Rumple may be more vengeful than before).

Anyway, someone who's on Twitter might like to tweet this to the writers.. Just a friendly reminder:

They've established Rumbelle as "Beauty and the Beast" of OUAT, and that story is supposed to have a happy ending, so naturally the fans are expecting RB to get one too. I get that A&E don't like to spoil things, but they know (or they should know) how much RB/BatB means to the fans, so if they are planning to give this couple an unhappy ending, they should just say so instead of toying with us. As Emma said, giving someone false hope is cruel.

How does Belle even go to Zelana after what she did
and then Rumple basically tells Belle he's her prisoner he though he loves her and their child

and then the ending

It's like they have been taking over by dopplegangers...

I'm right there with you.... They are so far removed from the Belle who claimed to love all of Rumple, and the Rumple who was trying to be better for Belle.

Yeah, I love the characters, always will, this couple is my OTP, it's the writers that have butchered them

and yeah you would think with the movie coming out, Rumbelle would be front and centre this season, but no we have this

I haven't watched since S5 but I kept up with what's going on with these two. Was it really necessary to tear them down so much? What have they done to this shows version of BATB? Seeing the trailer for the new movie, angered me & made me even more anti-A&E that's what Rumbelle should be not this messed up version that we have now. You would think that with the movie coming out in a few months A&E would stop this $%#@ but no.... they just make it worse and worse. I'm surprised Disney doesn't push them to fix their mess, frankly. If I ever thought of coming back to this show, well I won't now.
