Me neither, though more than CS it looks a heavy Camelot/Merlin ep to me...

I was reading Rufeepeach's Burning Bright, a rewrite of S5 with Neal still alive instead of Hook. As I was reading her version of Rumple trying to get out of Dodge and run for the town line, I realized a couple of things about Belle's freak out and storming off.

1) Rumple says the bag will protect them. The last time Rumple made a protection for the town line, he worked for weeks on it and tested it first. Given the panic he's in over Emma, he may be crossing his fingers and just hoping this works.

2) The last time Belle was at the town line, she was exiling Rumple. He was also giving her some weak excuses for what he'd been doing and why he'd been lying to her. Just being there has to bring back a lot of painful memories, ones I can see Belle wanting to run away from.

3) The time before that she got shot and lost her memory.

4) Has the woman had any sleep in the past couple months? Between Rumple's return, Queens of Darkness, Rumple at death's door, researching everything under the sun to try and save the day, being kidnapped (and did no one notice she was missing?), having Rumple kidnapped, being shot at, etc., when was the last time she had five minutes to close her eyes (being knocked unconscious doesn't count)?

Get me in that condition, and I might pitch a fit against even my back-from-the-dead-(again)-true-love that would make a cranky baby look like a lullaby.

I really should post here more often. I haven't seen the show in ages cause of the Rumbelle/Rumple/Belle treatment, but I miss them.

Nerves were definetely running high when they were approaching the timeline.
And for Belle I'd add that it wasn't helping that he was taking her out of town against her will and tecnically he didn't even tell her properly.

I recommended RufeePeach's Burning Bright! It is a terrific story and it just runs better dramatically and plot wise and even emotionally. Whether or not Neal and Emma were together, this story seems written for him. He fits in it better as a main player and he would be able to help Henry because he understands what he is going through. Also losing someone he loves again to the same curse, well that would be epic!

Rufee did put the townline scene part 2 into perspective for me. I thought Belle was crazy for wanting to stay and all that heroes don't run bull is untrue. Sometimes a real hero knows when to admit defeat and live to fight another day. I no longer think she was crazy and I understand why she walked off. I am also glad that later on when the bear attacked them she yelled for Rumple to run unlike Milah who would have wanted him to fight even if it killed him. Belle showed as well as Rumple how much they love each other and value each other in that scene.
