I was rereading some of the early Rumbelle (back from thread #1!) and Skin Deep, first showing, comments (the fandom seems to have officially begun two seconds after the episode aired).

A couple quotes seemed to summarize things:

For the discussion posts, I went back to the old pages on the forum. When I got ones with dates close to 2/12/12, I did a ctrl-F search for "rump." There are three of the early Rumplestiltskin and Belle (Rumbelle wasn't used in the thread title back then) on one page.
