I'm going to focus on something that was great.. Rumbelle DC. Rumple and Belle's cute banter, the fandom always knew Belle snooped around, didn't clean while he was away and we have proof.

The way Rumple denied that he cared for his maid..

Well I am upset about Rumple too, but it's not fair to say Hook and Regina haven't changed. Hook was clearly working to be a better man until Rumple took his heart and forced him to do those awful things. If you remember when Rumple literally had his heart in his hands, Hook told him to leave Emma the town alone. He wasn't concerned with himself first at all. And Regina has clearly changed. The old Regina would've crushed Marian's heart and been done with it so she could have Robin Hood for herself. This Regina didn't do that. She sent Robin away with Marian. They are obviously NOT perfect but they are changing. As where Rumple just undid ALL of his good. But I hope with future episodes he works to change.

Interesting that the drapes were closed in the hall, implying it's before the big curtains scene in Skin Deep.

You know they don;t do the flashbacks in any sort of order! LOL!! I think Rumple saving Belle was the first moment he realized she would mean more to him. Did you hear how he called out her name? Loved that!!

Tonight was heart-wrenching. I'm sad about Rumbelle ... but I know that they will get through it. Rumple had to lose her to try to get her back. And the path he was on was not a good one ... she needed to find out everything. It just happened in a devastating way.
