would have been cool. I do like the way it played out, and how Rumple couldn't blame Bae for not trusting him, and how it broke his heart..

I think Rumple doesn't see his father as such when he looks at Pan but sees the face of the demon his father became when he abandoned him. I don't think Rumple isn't furious at his dad, I just think to him, Pan represents all the pain and sorrow he went through all his life. Rumple knows his father is in there but hates the boy mask his father wears. He did forgive his dad at the end.

It was good scene at the very end with his Dad, seeing him again and giving him a kiss,

I loved the Bae/Rumple scene on the Jolly Roger when Bae said that Rumple is nothing like Rumple’s father

I was writing a fanfic where Bae's in 19th century London and the conversation turns to sgian-dubhs, daggers Scots sometimes have with a clan crest on them.

Someone asks Bae if his father had a dagger.

That' probably one of those questions where it's better to leave the answer to people's imagination.
