Hey, guys, two random thoughts that came to my head:
1. Emma, Belle, and Henry are the only ones in Storybrooke Gold genuinely and fondly smiles at. When he smiles at the other townspeople, it's usually a hateful/threatening/insincere smile (Regina), or he doesn't really bother to smile at them (others). Makes me wonder...  |

. Some fans think that Gold is nice to Henry because he´s just a kid but i think there´s another reason. And the fact that Gold is nice to Emma proves that he respects her and likes her (even if it´s not love). In the beginning, his plan was to use Emma against Regina but meanwhile, he begun to like her. He even thinks that Emma is like him, a Desperate Soul  !__________________

Ilda: I heard people say that he's only nice to Henry because he's a kid. Don't get me wrong, I know Rumpels/Gold likes kids and generally cares about their welfare , but look at how he viewed Alexandra (Ashley/Cinderella's kid): his merchandise. There's no fondness when he refers to her. And even though he saves the kids of his village from the Ogre Wars, we don't see him interact with them and treat them like he does with Henry.
Anyway, I agree with your headcanon and I think that's what happened. Gold intended to only use Emma against Regina and use her for his own ends, but along the way, he begun to like her and see Emma Swan, the person, and a good and strong woman, not Emma the Savior, Emma, his tool. He also realize they have a lot of things in common (honestly, it's Baffin and frustrating that they didn't have a heart-to-heart moment about relating their experiences with each other yet.  ) His interactions with her prove that. Which why I always become dumbfounded when people claim Gold/Rumpels hates Emma.  |

 . I also, don´t get why people think that in S2 it´s going to be RumpelxEmma. In FTL, he helped Snow and Charming being together and he has done some nice things too. So, why would Emma be against Rumpel  ? Of course, she is angry at him because of the elevator thing but a fight between them? Nop. I think that Gold is going to help the Charming family, even if it´s in a indirect way .__________________

Ilda: I have no idea why people think S2 is going to be against Golden Swan, either. Is Emma going to be pissed at Gold for what he did to her? Yes. Is he going to have a hard time getting her to trust him again? Yes. Is she going to try to kill him and/or him her? Hell no. Rumpels had all the chance to kill her, but he didn't. Regina, on the other hand, did try to kill her. I agree; he probably would try to help the Charmings in some indirect way because he likes the family (Emma most of all) and he can't stand Regina.

He usually doesn't care about kids! He's only different with Henry and that means a lot  And I think that at first Gold just wanted to use Emma but with time he's learnt to understand her, and to respect her, even like her maybe! I really hope he'll talk about Bae to her one day __________________

Eliza: I think Rumpels cares about kids on one hand, but on the other hand, he usually won't bother getting to know them beyond their names and such. Okay, actually, let me phrase it differently. I think he won't cross a certain line like Regina. He won't kill and/or abuse kids and generally will make sure they're okay, but he won't emotionally connect with them...unless they're his son(s) (I still go by my headcanon that Henry is his son) and/or he likes them and their parents (the Charmings, and Emma and Henry). Ah, I'm probably not making sense.
But yes, I think Henry a different case and it means a lot compared to his relationships with other children. Edit: And OMG! Rumpels/Gold talking to Bae about Emma would be so cute. It would also be better if Bae asks his father if he likes Emma ( ) and then decides to play match maker and/or becomes the resident Golden Swan shipper of the show, meanwhile convince Belle she and his father are not right for each other and she can do better (and points her in the direction of Jefferson or Archie).Last edited by Seda_Cuervo; 08-28-2012 at 12:55 PM |

. I knew that i was forgetting something. It´s done, Eliza .Girls, i just read a fanfic and i want this to happend on OUaT! If i ever see a scene like that one from the fanfic, where Gold tells Emma that he doesn´t love Belle anymore and that he wants Emma.....i think i would die from hapiness !__________________

Seda: I completely agree with what you just said about Gold/Emma/Henry, and how Gold reacts to them. It's like he's always had a soft spot for them for some reasons and I love it
