Ingrid & Emma #1: “My dear, sweet girl…”
Elizabeth Mitchell was cast as the Snow Queen, Ingrid, for season four's 'Frozen' arc and we found out early on, that she had a connection to Emma. “[Snow Queen] gets under [Emma’s] skin and she knows how to get under skin because unbeknownst to Emma she knew her really well at one point,” Morrison explains. “She knows what buttons to push and how to hurt [Emma’s] feelings and gets her angry.” - [x] Jennifer Morrison [x] Turns out, that connection was that Ingrid was once Emma's foster mom. But Emma didn't remember because Ingrid stole her memories. __________________

I just rewatched this arc and have to say it is better than I remember. I also didn't watch every moment the first time. Ingrid was unbalanced but I also found her sympathetic. I thought it was a great arc for Emma too.

4A was a good arc for Emma and I find, writing more about Emma and Ingrid's relationship in fanfiction, it makes me appreciate their characters more on the show.
