Kendra, Well I know him from True Blood, so I knew he wasn't Hook, since the guy who plays him is a different actor. I remember the sepculation about him being Bae when it was revealed that he was going to be on the show. I never would have pictured him as Bae and I was hoping he wouldn't be/isn't.

I wonder if Hook will sound more Irish or English? I guess we will have to find out.

I think I would lose respect for Robert if he had tweeted that. I realize he has to promote the popularity of it, but I just don't believe he'd care about it all that much. It's part of his job, and that's it.

I guess that was just an over zealous Swan Queen shipper. I would never say anyone was delusional, but you'd have to be a little to believe that Regina and Emma would ever make out on the show. Considering she's the enemy and the person behind the curse.

Maybe once Belle met Rumpel, he became her whole world and she forgot about everyone else? In the Disney movie we are shown the deep love she has for her father, but that was never seen in the Skin Deep. Apparently Rumpel believed her father capable of treating her badly, and that was the reason he beat him, so is there truth behind that? Maybe it's just another case of the writers not being able to delve any deeper to fit into the time limit of the episode? But I feel they could have done a little bit better. I just can't see OUAT Belle being similar to Disney Belle because they haven't fleshed her out. She loves Rumpel and wants to make him a better man. That's it.

MyFrozenSanctuary, I love that scene and those gifs! Especially the lip licking parallel.

And thank you for pointing out the way he looks up a few times. I didn't notice it when I saw the episode. It's like he can't help but look at Emma.

I also loved the little smile she gives him after he says you owe me a favor.

That's one thing the writers are going to have to explain about Belle. Otherwise it seems that she doesn't care.

Jennifer sort of has to say complimentary things about the writers, even if she might not think so herself. Jen might think Bae being Henry's father is genius, as you said.

Eliza, Well, if the show wasn't going for a love triangle, they weren't doing a very good job. I'm not saying I see any great love between Philip and Mulan, but there was a bit of chemistry there. I did think the kiss between Aurora and Philip was hot and I agree, much better than any of the other screen kisses.

I'm not well versed in all the fairy tales and myths but I don't know of many ones with black heroes/heroines. That could be because I've only seen/read European fairy tales though. That's why I'm fine with OUAT making Lancelot (or any other character) black. Otherwise the show would be filled with white people (or people that look white enough). Besides Jasmine, Aladdin, Mulan and Pocahontas. There's not enough diversity as it is on television.

Seda, I can't think of anything that would fit Regina's crimes either. I think she should have her powers taken away forever, but locking her up seems to me to be pretty lame. I feel she'd never give up her need for revenge, so they would never be safe if she was still alive.

Yay, TFTNT, Ilda! Sorry for being so behind, but I was COMPLETELY wiped out after subbing for an elementary school gym class. Having to teach K-5 was a nightmare...those kindergarteners need stun guns! Aaaand I vote for #23 in the survivor.

Eliza: I'm thinking that might've happened, since Hook wasn't around prior to this season. I mean, it wouldn't make much sense for him to be around and for Gold to ignore him, right? Since they have such a history... Gold loathes and mistreats the fairies (as well as Maurice), so you would think he'd show the same "courtesy" to Hook. Of course, the writers said they couldn't get the rights to Peter Pan til now, so maybe not. I just find it weird that all these random characters are popping up when the town is so small. We've only seen that it's comprised of like...3 blocks. LoL

I don't really think the long hair would look right on Colin, so I'm glad it's short. I can't wait to see him, ahh! I'm just afraid he'll end up being the ship's new "MUST SHIP HIM WITH EVERYONE" character. First it happened with Gold, then with Belle, and now more than likely with Hook since people are fangirling out the yin-yang. I'll admit I freaked when I first saw him, but now I'm over it. I'm very subdued with my fangirling. lol

That's so weird... I never would've expected either of those pairings, and I'm not sure I like the idea of them. o_O I'd have to see them in action first.

I agree. I got the impression that Aurora and Phillip were in love, and poor Mulan was the third wheel. I hope she gets someone eventually, too. I'd love a Shang character, but hey, doesn't seem like there will be. Weird, right? Because at least every other character has gotten their prince.

Guinevere may not be in OUAT, so we'll see how things play out. In some versions of the tale, Lancelot x Guinevere aren't even a couple...I think because Lancelot isn't even in the original story? I can't remember. It's been years since I studied that.

Seda: I don't really know a proper punishment for Regina either, considering how she's in need of some SERIOUS counseling from Archie.

Ugh, seconded so hard! I'm personally sick of the whole "twu wuv" is a means to an end theme, because that makes things BORING. Nobody wants to watch a bunch of couples that start off together and END together. I mean, what's the point of putting all these obstacles in the way if they're just going to hook up again? That's why I'm afraid Rumbelle is going to be Snowing Part 2, because Snowing has ALREADY faced tons of crap. At least now they seem in a good place so I don't have to deal with that anymore. It's like, UGH, just STOP, we know they're going to be together! There's nothing at stake with true love couples.

That's very true, I didn't think of it that way. Probably because I'm accustomed to that type of fan being in the majority of slash shippers. I'm not saying that's the way ALL of them are, but in my experience, their reasoning for supporting a slash couple is usually "the men are both hot." So a comment like that about Emma and Regina really didn't surprise me, sadly. :/

I know! That's what's awesome about this show...so many potential ships! And after seeing a sneak peek for Sunday's episode, I'm sure Charming Hatter will be added to that list now, too. lol

I suppose fickle wasn't the right word, but I say hypocritical too much, so... And I agree. JMo, Ginny, and Josh ALL have massive chemistry with each other since they're such great friends. If they weren't related, I've have them as an OT3 for sure.

I hate to be a pessimist, but I honestly wouldn't bank on that. :/ People have called the writers geniuses before, but then they go with a predictable route regardless.

I sure as heck hope so! I was also hoping that Emma could somehow run into Rumple now that she's in FTL, but since it's present day, I suppose that won't be happening. I just think it'd be hilarious to see her meet him.

Sounding English or Irish is sexy either way, so I don't really mind which it is. lol I saw on wiki that his other name is supposed to be Killian Jones, which sounds very Irish/Scottish to me. And Robert tweeted something like "Is this an Irish/Scot alliance?!" about himself and Colin, so I guess he's Scottish. That'll be awesome -- two of my favorite accents to mimic in one show!

I agree. The likelihood of an actor shipping a pairing with himself/herself is a little silly... They may love the writing, but that's about it. I think an actress would be more likely to "ship" her own couple (like Lisa on House), but Idk. I don't think Robert's a shipper. He's been in the business long enough to know what to do to promote fandoms.

Yeah, I'm hoping not. I don't want Maurice to be abusive... I never got that impression while watching, so maybe it's because Rumple never really sees the good in people? He's been burned by others so many time, so it's easy to view everyone as a monster (including himself).

I'm still not convinced that Belle loves him, but hey. I'd never want to stick around and change someone if I did, but maybe that's just me.

The writers have a difficult time fleshing out characters, and it bothers me. If I don't give a crap about the characters, I don't give a crap about what happens to them. Thus far, I only love Emma, Rumple, the Charmings, and Red. That's it. So honestly, the writers have failed in making lovable, relateable characters since I feel they're relying too much on our knowledge of the fairytales.

I love that smile, too. It's like she's saying, "Bring it, bitch!" haha

True. Being locked up isn't a very just punishment, but it seems to be a popular theme (like with Belle and Rumple being imprisoned).

I went to Robert´s twitter and I didn´t see anything special, I mean, related to the show.

I don´t think I would ever ship Swan Queen because I don´t think Emma and Regina would have a hate-love relationship but I respect the Swan Queen shippers because they never mess with us. At least that I know .

I kind of have a theory (I hope the mods don´t mind since this is a Emma/Gold thread) but maybe

Belle didn´t ask about her father because she was afraid that Rumpel may hurt him (which, he did)? They aren´t in FTL anymore so, she isn´t afraid of losing her kingdom but she may be afraid that once she goes back to her father, the deal is off ?

It may be a crazy theory, I know but to be honest, I don´t see any other reason why she didn´t ask for her father .

I´m just happy that Jen doesn´t mind with theory that Rumpel may be the father .

I just don´t think we should give much importance to some details, especially about the new characters. Remember August? Everything pointed that he was Bae but he wasn´t. The writers like to give us clues but they also like to give “clues” that turn out to be fake.

Just one personal thought, OUaT isn´t exacly like the Fairy Tale stories we use to so, why the whole True Love should be?

I´m not gonna lie, I think Captain Hook is hot! But I want to see him in action . Because I don´t want OUaT to be a show where every guy is just hot. We have plenty shows like that. I want him to be a interesting character too.

I would love to see Emma face to face with Pre – Dark Curse Rumpel .

I saw True Blood the other day (I don´t usually see it) and I saw Michael but his character was kind of a Zombie so, I ended up with no opinion about his acting.

I think Robert just goes with the flow. I think that if he was a truly shipper, he would be talking about it all the time.
