he knew he had to put Alice to the test to make sure and him changing slowly back into the Imp....the voice change when Alice was taking the test to make sure she was The Guardian, I thought he was going to change right there and then

and then taking back the Darkness so Alice doesn't live with being immortal, aww Rumple

In HH he was such in panic mode poor thing, he was just running on emotion and not thinking straight, he need to calm down, but no, he was going 100mph until it was too late. He knows he did wrong and he will make amends for it, it might take a while, but he'll get there...

This is why I really like this season and Regina and Rumple in it. I'm positive he will make amends and it's something I couldn't be sure of in the past. It's not a perfect season but in terms of characterization there are some truly interesting things.
