I say it again... Hook might come across sarcastic and he is, cheeky, sassy but his actions are what counts and thats what Charming sees and has understood

Same with Belle, he said sorry - but in the end its his actions that did the talking

But i think Charming came to understood that Hook was in a position where he couldnt tell or how to tell and telling both the kids off
