I adore Captain Swan. Yes, they have crazy chemistry, but that’s not the
reason I love them so much. I love that they believe in each other and that
belief allows them both to be the best versions of themselves. I’m so glad
that I’ve had the opportunity to take this journey with these amazing characters
and all the wonderful fans on this board!

From their first interaction in "Tallahassee", I was hooked (pun intended)
on Captain Swan. I remember thinking to myself as I watched their first few
episodes: "Wow, these two play off each other so well and have such an electric
chemistry ....but, eh, the show runners probably won't go for it, looks like I'm
shipping another ship that will never be." Thankfully, I was very wrong--the show
runners did see the amazing chemistry these two have, how well they complement
each other and make each other feel whole. The best relationships, in my opinion,
not only have firm trust and belief in the other person as well as a sense of partnership
or friendship, but also when the relationship brings the best out of each other. That's
what Captain Swan are. Emma makes Hook a better man, Hook makes Emma a better
woman...oh, and their banter. Can't forget their amazing banter.

T'Lynn
One of the things I love most about OUAT is that they offer so many relationships
so fans can determine which one they love most. While I enjoy the other couples on
the show, none of their stories touched me the way that Captain Swan has. I saw
immediately chemistry between Emma and Hook when they climbed the
beanstalk together and I knew these two complicated characters would make a
great couple. Little did I know then how epic their romance would become over the
next two seasons. Emma and Hook both have tragic pasts and have faced their
problems in opposite ways but their similar backgrounds help them to
understand each other and help the other move past their heartache.
Their romance has been a slow burn to the amazing Season 3 finale kiss. I
don't know where they will go from that point yet but I do know that they are
stronger together than when they are apart.
