Mama Bishop had to come and live with them, that's just too many babies. Ally was a little taken aback by her just moving in, without even asking. She just showed up with her bag and asked where her room was. They were so sleep deprived and Winston just gave her the guest room. Ally who was absent when she got there, was upset, but said she was too tired to fight
Winston on it. Years went by without them actually saying, "We got it" "You know, as much as we love you, we didn't invite you to live with us". So they all just lived together, and she proved to be a big help with the kids, when Ally went back to work over Mama B's objections. "A Mama needs to be with her babies, not shot!" Yeah, Winston got an earful that night. But she did help with childcare after school and so on.
