in the 1st part, i thought they were setting up Schimdt as Jess's lover ; but then at the end it looked like it will be Nick

i kind of hope that none of them are an option for jess this first season, even though i think they all amazing chemistry with zooey, i just would love to see that group just grow as friends, and no romance for awhile
