I liked the episode okay. But Jess' story didn't work for me. I'm sure it was there for the long story but I usually fast forward past it.

Winston and Aly in 5x2 and in 5x21 She is there to help him out. They are so in sync He is yanking about how relationships are hard. "Like a risotto in your heart" and in 5x21 we see him first going from ultra happy to ultra sad to ultra happy again in minutes. It's like a risotto but he is finally happy and Aly says she loves him, they share ILYs.


See how Schnick are supportive of each other as well in both episodes? Reverse support but I love noticing it. And see how Nick becomes more responsible adult?

Did you notice how in both episodes Jess is with someone else and with the idea of marriage? And both ideas are doomed? And she is seen proud of Nick in 5x2 because of the bar? And in 5x21 "It's Nick" that she can't marry Sam

Good thoughts. My favorite are Winston and Ally of course. That I love you had me I mean I wasn't prepared for it. I thought that wouldn't come till next season. I do love how Nick and Schmidt have matured in their friendship. Nick is more comfortable expressing his affection for Schmidt and all his friends. He has come a long way. They all have. Well, all but Jess, at least she has come the shortest. Let's just say she has some catching up to do.

Aww WinAly was definitely surprising. Everything happened kinda fast but it felt so good I wasnt expecting that ILY as well but the way it happened was so in character too. I think when Aly said her ex partner fell in love with her, I think she maybe didn't disclosure that she fell in love and all that ruined everything. I love WinAly so much, so excited to see them in Season 6 too

Schmidt and Nick's friendship is one of the cores of this show. More than NJ to me tbh. And I agreed with you completely. Now Nick is the one who is expressing his affection towards Schmidt more.

Jess showed maturity only in the last episode and I believe that will be her main arc in Season 6. I hope they write her well now
