I'm already so happy with the first 3 episodes of season 2!

I bought the New Girl DVD. And the DVD is AMAZING. Guys, it's so inexpensive. And there are a LOT LOT of special features. Like a LOT!

There is one deleted Nick and Jess scene which I liked a lot from the episode with their HUGE passionate fight. Apparently, Jess came to Nick to ask him about what he thinks about her and Russell together. Nick didn't want to give his opinion at all because he thought it would be like a trap to say the wrong thing! LOL. But anyway, he said that they have a nice relationship. And Jess got so upset! Haha! She was like, "Oh so it's just nice? That's it. NICE? I don't want nice! I want a MEAN relationship." Poor Nick! Haha! (meaning she wants more passion!)

Then there was also an extended scene with Nick and Jess shopping for a Christmas present for Paul. Cute scene. She basically helps him choose presents for his family members!

There is a LONG gag reel that is hilarious! Some funny Jake and Zooey stuff, too. Like in one scene she accidentally hits him in his "private" place! LOL! So funny. Jake started joking around that he can't feel anything "down there"! And Zooey kept apologizing!

What else I liked was the writers/producers' commentaries about the pilot episode. Liz mentioned that she LOVES the moment when Jess comes out looking all beautiful in the black dress, and how Nick stares at her. The writers also talked about the Nick and Jess scene at the bar, saying that there were many versions of that scene, how they wanted to show a connection with them. They talked about their chemistry and etc...What else I found interesting is that the ENDING scene of the pilot episode was at one point an ALMOST KISS with Nick and Jess! But they went with the whole group watching the Dirty Dancing movie scene. But HEY, at least the writers at one point wrote a Nick and Jess almost kiss in the PILOT episode!

There was also a lot of Jake praise in the pilot commentary which I LOVE because he is my favorite actor on the show.

In the gag reel, I also found it hilarious when they were doing a flashback scene with the fat Schmidt and a big girl on top of him kissing, Jake lost it! He started laughing during the scene because of Max's BIG face make up and stuff...which was hilarious!

This is probably the BEST DVD I've bought. It's only about $23! And it's got so MANY special features.

Lots of DVDs contain only like 6 or 8 episodes and cost so much more!!! (BBC shows for example!)
