Heartland, that also started as a book got a couple together and married and in the book they did not. ER, well you talked about couples from the pilot, well Julianna Margulies wasn't supposed to be a regular but the way George Clooney looked at her dying in the ER, they had to change the script. The whole concept, I mean. She was just supposed to set up the character but they knew they had to change it and they are now one of the most iconic couples of all time.

I had no idea that was the case in ER. I remember liking them a lot but I watched it waaaayyyy later of course.

I love Schmece since the pilot really. And with the flashback we got, I have a feeling they'll never be apart again. They are solid. It was always them for each other

I really liked Cece thanking Gavin even tho he was a terrible father. She is right and whatever he did or did not Schmidt turned out amazing Their scenes were so funny lol

She's right but I think it was her and all his friends that helped him, look at how far he came since season one.

Me too! They were always Cece and Schmidt, even when they were not a couple. That's what sets them apart. It also showed how they talked and knew each other even early on. I don't think it was ever just physical. At least not for long.
