Thanks. It will be after 2pm before we will be able to watch. I can not wait. If I was watching alone, I would be waking up early!

Almost done with my scavenger hunt prep. It gets confusing, when you cut the clues, to know where you put what. If the clue sends you to look under the rug. That clue isn't under the rug. That clue goes in a hiding spot before. Anyway, I got it figured out. We are going to have it after dinner on Thursday.

So, now I just have to fold my clothes.

Thanks, me too! Remember you are an honorary American. So you have to eat too much and sit in front of the tv on Thursday.

Well then, welcome home. You're going to fit right in. Got off work an hour early for Thanksgiving! Now I am off to pick up Audrey and hang out with my parents and her other grandparents.

Happy Thanksgiving!! We had a great time last night. Watched some of our favorites and ate good food and hung out. This is going to be a good day. Soon we will watch The One With the Football. I watch that every year on Thanksgiving. Then the Macy's parade. Then we will go to Peggy's.

Happy Thanksgiving to whom celebrates! In my belief we thank everyday and almost every minute. Thanks God that we still have glimpses in our life that reminds us not everything is bad

Thank you, we believe the same thing. I try and be thankful all year long. Even when I am tired at work, at least I have a job. I have a great family, a job, place to live and am in good health. I am blessed. Thanksgiving I believe got started from harvest meals that the first settlers would have. In them they would thank God for a good harvest. I could be wrong, it's been a while. But it's good to pause once a year and give thanks.

Exactly

Yes I read that it was for celebrating the first harvest. There was no turkey, potatoes or pumpkin pie. And it becomes a traditional national holiday with Lincoln, so nearly 200 years later.

We have a tradition of eating turkey at new years. But it's not a must

I'm not a huge fan of turkey, I like chicken, but we eat it once or twice a year. On thanksgiving and Christmas.
