I don't have a problem with him wanting to try again & see if their relationship could be salvaged after he found out that she had cheated, but they shouldn't have rushed into getting married after that. But I guess they didn't feel like they had much choice with the everything already arranged & paid for.

Yeah, they probably figured they had to leave everything as planned. But I agree if they wanted to see if they could fix their relationship, they should have postponed their wedding. And it would have allowed him to truly figure out his feelings. I think he always loved Lemon, and still loves Lemon, but isn't in love with her.

Yeah, exactly! It never turns out great when things are rushed. And their feelings were all over the place after George had found out about Lemon's affair so that really needed to be worked out before they walked down the aisle.

I think their wedding was going to be a disaster waiting to happen whether or not George actually admitting for having feelings for Zoe. I think with all the unresolved issues it wouldn't have turned out good anyway.

I honestly think it still would have. Because a lot of the events leading up to the affair coming out had nothing to do with Zoe at all. Lavon still kissed Lemon. And I could definitely see that still happening without Zoe being there.

Yeah, at that was bound to come out eventually. Especially with the way Lavon was in S1. He never really wanted to hide how he felt about Lemon.
