That's what I thought. I actually had a lot more hope for season 3 than I realized & now....I don't even know what I want. I don't trust LG to do a good job with ZW, even if (which I think they will be) the main focus of the show. I'm just not on the same wavelength as her at all.

I think think you're being even remotely unreasonable in harboring this wish. If the writers can't put the "entertain" into entertainment, then they have no business cashing their paychecks.

The problem, as I see it, is that LG has written so many logical flaws and inconsistencies into the show over the last year, that pulling characters who grew tremendously unlikeable out of the hole she dug for them will be incredibly difficult.

I've said what I think should happen to LG. It really is the only decision that makes sense, given that HoD got a 0.2 Neilson share for this week's rerun. It only got about .8 million total viewers (which means that most of the viewers do not fall within the target demographic), at which point, it almost costs more money to air the show than it's bringing in for the CW.

TPTB must have been perfectly aware that they would need to spend money to get money this season after the pit LG dug the show into.

Consider it money they didn't spend promoting new pilots because none were good enough to realistically replace, HoD as of May, but don't count on them not being on the prowl for a mid-season replacement if HoD tanks by December because they actually let LG's "vision" control the show's direction.
