And she always seemed to try wayyyy too hard to convince herself that Wade wasn't the one she loved. All the negative comments about Wade to Joel and to herself for that matter, were all to basically convince herself that she was with the right person. Even if she wasn't. But of course, you can only lie to yourself for so long until it catches up to you.

Yesss.... it is such a sweet moment between them. In the last couple episodes before their break up (2x14, 2x15) in you could really tell just how much they were in love. Their scenes were much more intense.

Yeah! And They were so happy with each other! I always loved the last two scenes in 2x14....that kiss and the scene with Lavon/Wade/Zoe sitting on the couch.

They were so obviously in love! But I don't think they completely realized it. That's why I think it took Wade until they broke up for him to realize how to define those feelings.

I don't think they knew it either, they were just too much in the moment to have it hit them like 'wow, I love this person', instead it happened too late

Yeah, I agree! It never seemed to cross their mind that they loved each other even though they were feeling those feelings. I think it was the heartbreak that really jolted them out of it. At least for Wade, he finally realized "wow, I just lost the woman I love." in my opinion, we really saw that in the scene he had with Lavon when he was talking about Zoe.

It's really too bad that it took losing each other to realize it.

Did you ever realize that in the season 2 finale, when Lemon asked Wade, she even said "Are you still in love with her?" So I think the select few knew they were in love when they were together.
