Yeah, it did. And they were able to fully express how they felt about each other in that moment. What makes it even more special is because of how last minute the wedding was, those vows were coming directly from the heart. No thinking about what to say or writing anything down.

awwww!!! That scene! :So much angst between them there, but so much love. You could tell just how much it hurt just to see each other again.

You could, but I feel like there was a grace to that scene as well, especially with Wade. There didn't seem to be any resentment towards her at all

Yeah, there was. And Wade made sure that Zoe knew that he didn't regret telling her that he loved her. Even though he didn't say those exact words, she knew what he meant.

I love that too, it showed that he hasn't regressed again & wasn't going to try & take back what he had said because of how she had hurt him afterwards - he still knew that it had been worth the risk

I think Wade needed Zoe to know that he didn't say those three words just for the heck of it, and that declaring his love actually meant something to him. Also think that by Wade telling Zoe that he didn't regret anything also showed her that he STILL loved her and the love didn't just disappear in 5 months being away.

Yeah, it did & Zoe struggled all throughout the episode with how she should respond to that

Yeah, she did. That's why I truly believe that if Joel didn't show up in that moment when she was ready to talk to Wade, she might have stayed in Bluebell without him. Because those feelings for Wade were rushing back to her and it just confused her so much once he was there. You could see it in her face. I think had Zoe thought that Wade resented her for leaving or something, it would have been easier for her to just run back to New York with her new life that she was trying to make.

I think she would have done too, when she asked Joel if he would stay, it was otherwise that she was going to whether he was going to be there with her or not

Yeah, in a way I think that Zoe wanted Joel to say no deep down and it would be her easy out then he would just go back to NY and she could stay in Bluebell. Even if Zoe wasn't quite ready to admit to her feelings for Wade yet, I think deep down she knew that those feelings were there. But once she had Joel around with her, she basically had no choice but dance around those feelings for Wade.
