That was probably my fave moment from all of s3
& I remember thinking that Wade looked disappointed when she told him congratulations, it was like he wanted her to say something else __________________

He wanted her to tell him to stay! & she obviously wanted to say that as well, but I think she thought she was doing what was best for him in that moment by trying to be happy for him instead. It's all so bittersweet & the song was perfect

The music was A+ during a lot of their emotional scenes. The thing is, I noticed when I did my rewatch of their scenes, from two separate playlist, the songs were different in some scenes (licensing I guess) so I don't know what the OG song was. It's "Who's looking out" right? I also love the song "Wait" that is playing when Wade comes around and knocks on her door finally and says he loves her and wants to give things a try. That scene always gets to me too, mainly because of Wade's face when she rejects him, after being scared to take the leap. His face gutted me and the song made it that much more heartbreaking.
I know their first meeting, the song was two different songs on the different playlists, when he was playing rock band in 1x01 and I also noticed the songs were different during the scene when he kissed her unexpectedly, when she was spazzing out about the float not being built yet in 1x02. I know during that scene in one of the playlists the song was "Let me down easy." which I like better then the song in the other. Same thing happened with Dawson's Creek. They changed around some of the OG songs. __________________

It was Who's Looking Out & I loved Wait too!
I didn't notice any of their songs being different, but I don't have the dvds, is that where the songs are different? I did a ZW season 1 song survivor here a few years ago, & I still have the arts saved somewhere, so I can went back & checked the songs for the episodes as they aired & their first meeting was The Black Keys - Have Love, Will Travel & the kiss in 1x02 was Let Me Down Easy by Bill Currington __________________

Yeah, this was the PL I watched. Pretty sure it might be from the DVDs, cause you can hear the song in the background of their kiss is not "Let Me Down Easy".

I have no idea what that song is! So strange to hear it over that scene, it feels all wrong

Just curious. Did Rachel Bilson break character here? The first scene after Zoe asks Wade and they officially become boyfriend and girlfriend. I know Wade was making some really cute sounds during their kiss, but Rachel looks like she can't hold in it anymore and breaks at the end. Which ends up being one of Wade/Zoe's cutest moments IMHO, just because Zoe looks so incredibly happy and giddy after kissing her man. I always wondered if Wilson adlibbed the sounds and what he yells after the kiss and Rachel broke from it. It doesn't matter, cause both of them are too darn adorable in this scene. So much attraction and Wade is so hilarious and lovable here. lol
The moment starts @ 1:40 LOL he's so darn cute and her face afterward LOL. Awww lol |

I think she was scripted to be smiling like that, because Lavon says afterwards 'there's that big dumb smile', but I do think that Wilson probably brought a little extra to that scene

Out of all the Wade and Zoe videos I've seen, this one hit me hard.
The song is a remake of (Love Her When You) "Let He Go: By Passenger" remade by Within Temptation and her voice is so incredibly haunting on that cover and really sets the tone and ups the angst factor between Wade and Zoe in the video. The visual affects are A+ and hauntingly beautiful too and helps set the mood as well. It kinda gutted me, even tho I know how the story ends, but I can't handle vulnerable/sad/emotional Wade. Wow it's beautiful and IMHO showcases their deep connection, something that seem to take them both by surprise and why they truly are a Top 2 OTP worthy couple, for sure. I got actual CHILLS. I recommend watching, if you haven't. It's stunning. |

I also love this moment.
After Zoe finally tells Wade she loves him back and he tells her he's still gonna leave for Atlanta and Zoe thinking he was already gone. She called Lemon to tell her not to give up on True Love, then turned around and saw Wade come back through the door. I was like OH MY GOD, he's her True Love, he came back for her. The moment instantly reminded me of Wade and Zoe's conversation, they had in 1x15 when Wade apologized for his part in her break up with Judson and told her, if Judson was her True love, then he'd come back. Judson didn't come back, but Wade did. The moment totally warmed my heart. I almost wanted to jump out of my chair. |

It was a great moment, especially her expression when she saw him! She knew right then that things were going to work out with her & Wade

Such a great moment.
Doing these weekly re-watches with Cathy has just reminded me why I've loved ZW so much. __________________
