I just think maybe his big storylines should have involved more of the town stuff and being mayor. The love drama shouldn't have gone further than the little arguments and issues that AB/Lavon had.

That would have been kind of interesting. Since it seemed like he forgot about his football life and I can't imagine that there weren't people that he became friends with during those days....

No, we didn't. But I feel like it should have somewhat been mentioned a little bit because at times it was almost as if he tried to forget it happened.

I wouldn't say he was trying to ignore it. He was just so focused on his relationships and being mayor.

No, he wasn't. But he definitely knew that it was just a chapter in his life and it wasn't really who he was anymore.
