Yeah, it is just too hard to watch. 2x16 is hard to watch too, but I feel like because Wade was dealing with the inevitable that was about to happen, I feel like he was sort of savoring every moment that he had left with Zoe.

Yeah, I think that is why I am pretty conflicted about that episode when I watch it. I hated that Wade lied to her when she asked about it. I definitely feel like he knew he had to tell her very soon. I don't think he would have just kept the relationship going with that lie between them, but he was trying to postpone the inevitable. You could see it in that kiss they had in Lavon's kitchen. He was trying to get the most out of the little time he had left with her.

The one positive thing that gets me through those episodes now is knowing that eventually they find their way back together and they find their happiness. Initially when it first aired, it was very different because seeing them break up, there was no guarantee that they would even get back together at all.

I know initially for me, I was starting to lose a lot of hope for a Zoe/Wade reunion, but I kept holding on because I wanted them to get back together so badly.

I was pretty confident after the last two episodes of season 2, but before that, I was really worried that the writers had just destroyed ZW in that way to clear the way for Zoe/George

I held on hope that they would get there because after seeing the ending scene in 3x01 I knew that the love between them was still there.
