yeah. That's exactly the way I saw it. I think Zoe thought that if she said "I love you" to Zoe enough and talked about loving Joel enough times that it would make it true and if she told joel "I love you" it meant that she didn't love Wade. We know that she was obviously in denial about loving Wade and she didn't want to love him even though she felt it. So it was almost as if she was trying to force herself into not loving him. Despite that, yes. It was still very annoying. But at least we somewhat know why it happened the way that it did.

She really was. But in reality, the heart wants what it wants, and you can't make it do something else just because you want it to. And that was the situation here. Zoe loved Wade no matter what she tried to do. Saying I love you to someone else, does not make it real. Wade was always on her mind.... it was soooo obvious.

Just like he was projecting things onto Vivian. he knows deep down, he didn't really picture a future with Vivian, because in his heart, he wanted those things with Zoe.

Yes exactly! Similar to Zoe, he was trying to tell his heart that he had something real with Vivian and that he saw a future with Vivian because he felt something for her. But in reality the things he was feeling was just the love he had for Zoe, and the future he wanted with Zoe, projected onto someone else. He couldn't have Zoe at the time and he didn't want the heartbreak anymore.

yeah. We are. Despite of how much we hated Zoe and Wade being in other relationships in season 3, it's good to have some sort of understanding now that ZW are back together and married that all it was at the time was denial on BOTH Zoe and Wade's part of how much they truly loved each other.

If the show came back, would y'all want to see an actual Zade wedding, with Zoe walking down the isle? A vow renewal? I kinda want to see that. With Brick walking her down the isle, since her own dad doesn't deserve to. With Lavon standing up as Wade's best man. With their son walking the rings down the isle. Then again, I love their vows they already exchanged, so I don't know if I'd want that ruined.

That would be really nice. I think a vow renewal wouldn't be out the question. I do LOVE their vows so much and I wouldn't want anything to replace those amazing vows and a vow renewal has the potential to ruin that. BUT then again, the vows can get better too. I miss not seeing Zoe walk down the isle all dressed up and seeing Wade's face of pure love. That is something I would have loved to see.
